Open all year Tuesdays-Saturdays (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) Tour through the Ybor City State Museum (the Ferlita Bakery building) and learn more about the history of Ybor City. The bakery was a major source of the community's daily bread and the Ybor cigar factory was the largest in the world. Museum fee: $2.00 per person. Tampa's history is preserved here in a building that was once one of the city's original bakeries - Ferlita Bakery. Find out how Tampa was settled and made Florida's Ybor City in Florida reknown as the "Cigar Factory of the World". After the museum tour the streets, shops and eateries on free guided tours.

LA CASITA TOURS
Docents lead guided tours through LaCasita, a cigar maker's house. The house is an excellent example of the shot-gun houses in which many cigar makers lived and it reflects family life in the early part of the 20th century. Fee: included in museum fee of $2.00 per person.
